| WP4 - Building and supporting the INCO-TRUST community |
|
WP4 will provide the bridging between WP2 and WP3 by establishing the physical mechanisms, mainly Workshops (WS) to facilitate international collaboration, identifying enablers and barriers and preparing an action plan to advance collaboration activities in TSD research. While WP2 is more inward focussed on the scoping, establishment and running of the Working Groups for INCO-TRUST, WP4 is more outward focussed in widening and building up the project work to a much wider and already established community including the European Technology Platforms (eTPs) e.g. eMobility, NEM and NESSI, other Framework projects and initiatives involved in ICT TSD. WP4 will enable the building of new international strategic alliances in the respective fields, whenever it is of benefit to European efforts. For example, to identify the legislative or legal tendencies in protection and repression, on security related to ICT in the various countries concerned: USA , Japan , Australia and the European countries. This knowledge will make it possible to better include/understand each other’s situation between technical and legal protection, and the articulation of both.
WP4 will, therefore, need to focus on two complimentary and
dedicated tasks dealing with Workshop organization and collaboration
with EU stakeholders - academic, industry and governmental, and then
the interlinking with International elements and taking the
EU-International Project Clustering perspective. The Deliverables of
WP4 consist of the Workshops themselves and the Workshop reports and an
annual Pan-European – Global TSD alignment report, which details the
projects and initiatives across the EU and Internationally that can be
aligned and mapped to the identified research topics/areas of priority
of importance to Europe. The schedule of INCO-TRUST workshops with approximate dates:
