| WP3 – Input to the design of future research programmes |

WP3 will start at the beginning of the project in parallel with the other Workpackages as it intends to begin influencing the design of new research programmes by facilitating researchers from the EU and other Regions of the world to proceed jointly in the identification and promotion of new, shared, research directions that could constitute a useful input to the design of the new research agendas of the respective regions for the years to come and, in particular, those relating to the future FP7 calls of the EU. The three tasks of WP3 include: (a) the INCO-TRUST Vision, (b) Identification of gaps and overlaps, definition of the new Research and Technological Development (RTD) challenges and (c) RTD priorities from a techno-socio-policy dimension and a timelines perspective. The deliverables of WP 3 are the project recommendations reports (interim month 18 and final month 30).
