| INCO-TRUST Workshop 4-5 May 2010 |
| A large scale international workshop was held on 4-5th May 2010 in New York City. The workshop was co-organised by the National Science Foundation, Rutgers University and the INCO-TRUST project. The main focus of the workshop was International Data Exchange with Security and Privacy: Applications, Policy, Technology, and Use. There were over 60 delegates from EU, US, Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Brazil. In addition to interesting keynote speakers and panel sessions, a number of breakout sessions were held on identifying the technical challenges and opportunities for trans-national data repositories and examining the differences and commonalities of international and domestic approaches to a variety of application domains. The timing of the workshop was important and findings are already being used in discussions between the countries program management departments engaged within INCO activities.
