International Co-operation in Trustworthy,
Secure and Dependable ICT infrastructures

The INCO-TRUST project will concentrate on building up the contacts in the participating North American and Asia-Pacific countries for the recruitment of the above mentioned working groups. Under his direction, the project will start by making contacts with the key stakeholders in all the project regions in order to plan project visits and exchanges. In 2008, these will include meetings in Australia during February ‘08, two visitations in the United States (March '08 to the NSF Cybersecurity PI event and a more comprehensive visit later in the year) and an Asian visit (Japan and South Korea) in May '08. These are the initial focus regions and the project will expand to other countries such as Canada, Taiwan, … as appropriate.

First mission Abroad - Australia, February 2008

The first external mission took place in February 2008 with the goal of understanding the Australian ICT-Security programs/profile and exploring the possibilities for joint ICT TSPD activities.

Working meetings were held with Australian government and other relevant research communities. The mission resulted in a significant number of contacts with whom we shall pursue areas of potential collaboration and contribution to the working groups when established..
