INCO-TRUST will establish a core platform to facilitate productive collaboration and partnerships between researchers from the participating countries. Its goal will be to co-ordinate the multiple research efforts underway in the areas of cyber trust, security and dependability. This includes continuing and extending the already b collaborations made between the EU and the US researchers recently and widening the collaboration to include researchers in Australia, Japan, Canada and South Korea. The project will support the scoping and establishment of Working Groups comprised of experts focused on prioritising ICT TSD topics requiring mutual and beneficial international cooperation. As a starting point, based upon the outcomes of the first two workshops, working groups will be established to cover three levels as shown:
WG1 – Infrastructures level: it is envisaged this WG will focus particularly on the security of the large systems, not only of the networks, and taking into account of the interdependencies. This includes security of the current Internet and the design of the security of the future Internet, security of networks and wireless systems. Transversal to each of the above Working Groups, ideas for Future TSD test-beds will be continuously reflected upon and reported by the participants. |
