Objective 3. Collating/Building on the outcomes from two successful workshops already held between the EU and US and participants from Japan and Australia, and systematically harmonise these with International researchers and build upon these visions and challenges in a meaningful way through dedicated results oriented workshops. The logical progression of technical theme alignment and community building carried out in the first two objectives constitutes the foundation to stimulate and promote global Research and Technology Development (RTD) dialogue in TSD systems and address world-scale problems for the emergence of a trustworthy global information and knowledge society. An example of a world scale problem would be better implementation, rules and concerns regarding the crucial issue of information privacy and trust that is inter-related with privacy and Identity within the complex environment of Ambient Intelligence, since devices will be empowered to communicate identity information to other devices. |
